Universe Silver has made some updates to your Universe Silver account statements - following is a summary of those updates:
What is different about the display of account transactions in my account statement?
Your account statement now displays account transactions in chronological order by posted date starting, with first transaction in the period at the beginning of the list and going down the page to the last transaction in the period.
Does the account statement show how each account transaction affects my account balances?
Yes, the running balance for your account resulting from each transaction now appears in the far-right column of the account statement.
Where does the account statement describe overdraft fees?
If your account is enrolled in overdraft protection, usage fees for this feature are more prominently featured in a box near the top of the first page of the account statement. This box includes the total of all overdraft fee charges and credits (refunds) for the account statement period.
What does it mean if the running account balance after a particular transaction is negative?
If your account is enrolled in overdraft protection, and if the current period contains transactions that overdraw your account, the running account balance will show as negative for those transactions that were paid on the account under the terms of the overdraft protection feature.
Does the account statement show my direct deposit transactions?
Yes - the dollar amount of each deposit to your account appears in the Credit column, and the nature or source of the deposit appears in the Description column. For direct deposit transactions, the Description of the deposit is the name of the source of the deposited funds. A deposit that is a cash load using Green Dot appears as a Green Dot Load in the Description column.
Where does the account statement show the opening balance for the statement period?
The account opening balance for each statement period is shown in the Account Summary section near the top of the first page of each account statement. For each statement period, the account opening balance is equal to the account closing balance for the prior statement period.
Where does the account statement show the closing balance for the statement period?
The account closing balance for each statement period is shown in the Account Summary section near the top of the first page of each account statement. For each statement period, the account closing balance is equal to the running account balance shown next to the last transaction in that statement period's account transactions.
Where can I view the Fees charged on my account?
The Account Summary section near the top of the first page of each account statement includes the Total Monthly Fees for the statement period and the Year to Date Fees charged on your account. The Total Monthly Fees and Year to Date Fees amounts include the sum of fees charged, less the amount of any fees credited. Account fees are not included in the individual transaction history or in the line items in the Account Summary for Total Credits/Deposits or Total Debits/Withdrawals.

Fees that are assessed on your account and included in your periodic statement are described further in the Fee Schedule that is part of the Universe Silver Deposit Account Agreement, which was included in your Universe Silver Account Welcome Kit and is viewable online via the Universe Silver mobile application or online at www.UniverseSilver.com.
